A vintage bronze vide poche by Argentor, Denmark, created circa 1930. This art deco inspired circular piece features a whimsical engraved motif of a playful mermaid riding a dolphin on the centre of the inner base, organic patina and tarnish in some areas which creates the mottled copper and gold tones that are so beloved in bronze items and would be perfect for use as a stylish trinket dish, catch all or jewellery holder, particularly within mid century modern, Hollywood Regency, modernist or eclectic home décor schemes.

This piece is in good condition, showing signs of wear consistent with age and use such as two small dents to the underside of the base, a slight dip to the rim in one area, patina and tarnish as to be expected with vintage bronze items however, the bowl could be polished up to a shine if this is your preferred look (though please note, tarnished areas will remain).
