An antique 18th century silver plated circular waveform candleholder by silversmith Charles Wright (active circa 1775-1786). With a classic and surprisingly contemporary design, this silver Georgian era candelabra holds 5 candles and could possibly have been a source inspiration for modernist, art deco and mid century modern Scandinavian silversmiths such as Georg Jensen and Gunnar Ander.

In excellent condition with minimal signs of wear present for a piece from this era such as small chips on one wave rim,a slight bend to the wave formation in parts and miniscule tarnishing on the rim of several holders.
