A fabulous and rarely seen set of vintage mid century modern travertine bookends by Fratelli Mannelli. Created in Italy circa 1970s, these demilune shaped solid stone bookends are hand carved using alternating striped red and blonde travertine and feature the original makers labels on the base.

Heavy in weight, with travertine's signature crackled and potted texture, these eclectic modernist pieces are yet another wonderful example of Fratelli Mannelli’s talent for fusing fine craftsmanship with timelessly chic design that will elevate a wide variety of interiors with refined character.

The set is in great condition but do feature areas where the makers have glued and sealed the travertine for a stronger structure, such as the corner of one piece, and there is a larger natural perforation on one piece. Please note; the items are slightly differing sizes, as can be seen in our pictures.
