A large original charcoal nude study portrait of a woman by Spanish artist Emilia Castañeda circa 1960s. This vintage artwork of a seated woman lost in thought is created using black, baby pink, lilac and teal blue charcoal accents on rustic brown paper to create a hazy, dream-like feel. Featuring the artists' signature on the bottom left corner and coming complete with solid vintage walnut frame, this whimsical portrait would suit a wide range of home décor schemes but would make for a particularly striking statement piece in eclectic, modernist, antique or maximalist interiors. 

This piece is in great condition but does feature some brown splashes on the canvas, which may be a design feature but should be noted, and a small horizontal tear next to the artists signature which is only visible upon close study. The frame features signs of age such as scratches, synonymous with age and use. Please see our photographs for further details.
