Vintage solid white alabaster bowl by Volterra. Finely hand carved in Italy circa 1970s with a slightly opaque matte finish, this art deco style mid century modern display bowl features the original Volterra makers label to the base as a guarantee of quality craftsmanship and would look particularly beautiful within a minimal, vintage or Hollywood regency decor scheme.
In wonderful condition with signs of wear synonymous with age and use as to be expected with pieces made from alabaster as it is a soft stone as seen in our photographs.

Care
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care.
Dust with a dry microfibre cloth when necessary. Do not use water to clean as this can dissolve alabaster. Acetone or mineral spirits can be used to clean marks.
