1970s Murano glass wall sconce designed by Carlo Nason for AV Mazzega. Exuding a soft, diffused glow when illuminated, the irregularly textured Murano glass gives the piece a contemporary, brutalist edge whilst the alternating amber and clear striped panels embody the rich colour palette of the era, elevating any interior scheme with distinctive retro charm. In my opinion, this is the quintessential Carlo Nason design.

Manufactured in Italy by AV Mazzega, one of Italy's premier Murano Glass makers, this gorgeous piece of vintage décor is in perfect working order and is in excellent condition showing minimal signs of age and use. The lamp requires an E27 bulb and can be either hardwired or used with an appropriate rechargeable smart bulb.
